Sorry I have taken so long to post an update! It was a busy spring and summer in the McDonald household. We are in to fall now and are definitely enjoying it. I wish I could say that the weather has been cooler, but not so much here in Georgia. Matt made it home at the end of September and we have really enjoyed the last 4 weeks!! Kaleb started the 3rd grade September 1st and he is doing really well so far. He is working hard and has 3 A's and 2 B's. He still struggles some in Math and in Spelling, but loves Science, Social Studies, and English. He is very smart and with some modifications to his schooling, he has been able to really thrive so far and enjoy school this year more than the last two. Praise God for that!! Jakob and Kyla have started Pre-K and are enjoying their curriculum as well. Jared is walking and really starting to try to say a lot more words here lately. He is a handful, but a lot of fun!! Kaleb and Jakob got baptized a couple of weeks ago. That was really special! We had a lot of family in for the occasion and to welcome Matt home. They both had gotten saved over the summer, but waited for Matt before being baptized. Kaleb is playing flag football, and Kyla and Jakob are playing soccer. I say that Kyla plays, but she mostly walks around the field and looks at everyone. Baby #5 is due in February. So far so good in this pregnancy. We are still kicking around a few name ideas for our 4th baby boy. Think that we might have settled on one, but....more to follow on that later. We are waiting to see what Matt's next assignment will be. Right now it looks as if we will be staying in Georgia, either here or up in Dahlonega. We shall see what the Lord has for us. Should know something in the next 2 weeks, but this is the Army so who really knows. Hope you enjoy the pictures and that everyone is doing well.
