Monkey Joes

Fun in Meme's tub

Hey there! We got to meet Uncle Ryan and Aunt Anna on Friday for lunch and a trip to Monkey Joes. Here are some pics from the kids playing there. They had a wonderful time. Barbara is doing well, but now Jared is running fever and wheezing. We are back on breathing treatments. Please pray that he gets to feeling better soon.

Adventure Science Museum in Nashville

Hello everyone! We are up in Nashville for the time being. Matt's mom had back surgery, so we came up to help her out. My friend Marcie and her children came up with us to get us through the first week. Praise the Lord for wonderful friends! We had a great time taking the kiddos to the museum for a field trip last week. If you ever get a chance to check it out, do so. It was so much fun!! Here are some pics from that. Hope everyone is doing well. Please continue to pray for Barbara. She is doing really well, but still has a long recovery ahead of her.

Hello there! It has been quite a while since I have posted. Things here are going well. Matt has been gone now for 15 weeks. Wow! Time has certainly flown by. He is doing really well. He broke his arm on Christmas Eve playing football, but it seems to be healing up nicely. It sure hasn't slowed him down any. Kaleb is doing well in school. We are learning to adjust and modify things to make it easier for him. He will begin vision therapy next week. He has such a positive attitude about having RP and it is really a blessing to see that. Jakob is a monster. He is such a big kid. He has a great personality and is a joy to watch. He weighs as much as Kaleb and is not too much shorter. Matt calls him his retirement. Ha!Ha! Kyla is a pretty little girl, but she is rotten. She definitely TRIES to rule the roost and keep the boys in line. She is very sweet though, most of the time. Jared is growing up way too fast. He is 9 months old now and is pulling up on everything. He is cruising the furniture, but has not let go yet. Praise the Lord for that. I am not ready for him to walk! Matt should be getting his R&R leave sometime in May. We are looking forward to spending some time in the mountains w/ him when he comes home. He has put in for a position at WestPoint. We shall see what happens with that. Pray for the Lord to open and shut doors on our behalf as He sees fit! We hope everyone is doing well!!
