Sports

Kaleb played basketball for the first time this year. He really enjoyed it and was quite improved by the end of the season. Now, he and Jakob are playing soccer. This is Jake's first time to play and he seems to really like it.

Camping on the Appalachian Trail...well sort of

The weekend before Christmas, my nephew Bronson came to visit. He and Kaleb had a lot of fun hanging out together. Matt and his friend Eric managed to find time to take the boys up to Blood Mountain in north Georgia. They were supposed to camp out on the mountain, but when they got there it was 18 degrees and the wind was blowing between 10-15mph. They opted for a local motel (for the boys' sake - yeah right) and spent the night there. They still cooked out on the camp stove and did go hiking on the mountain the next day. While they were disappointed at their accomodations (the warm motel room), they did have a great time!!

More Christmas Fun

Goofy Kaleb

Matt going to the Christmas Cantata

After the Cantata

Matt and I were in the Christmas Cantata at Church. He played Joseph and I sang in the choir. It was a first for both of us and we really enjoyed it. We had tons of visitors that night. Praise the Lord that so many people were able to see the Christmas story and to hear a clear presentation of the gospel. We even had a girl there from Iraq!!
